At Calvary Chapel, we understand the value of building godly relationships with other couples; therefore, we gather in many different settings. We encourage you to plug in and connect with other couples growing in their relationship with Jesus.

We believe biblical marriage is a union solely between a man and a woman. All marriage and couples' ministries within our fellowship are offered based on this biblical model. Pastor Shawn is available to meet to discuss this in person if you have further questions.

  • john & amy wagner relational intimacy leaders

John and Amy Wagner were born and raised in WV and have lived in Morgantown since 1998. They married in 1991, have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. John and Amy have attended Calvary Chapel Morgantown since 2007 and have served in many of the ongoing ministries.

John retired at the end 2022 and he and Amy feel called to serve in the marriage ministry called Relational Intimacy. Having navigated the ups and downs of marriage, raising kids, working full time and now hoping to influence their grandchildren while always growing closer to Christ, has given them insights into how to form a biblical worldview and live it out.

John and Amy have counseled individuals and couples in biblical financial principles for over 25 years. During this time, they have realized that this is only part of the issue that prevents intimacy with God, their spouse and their family. The Lord poured out the idea and the curriculum for the Relational Intimacy in early 2023 and they are excited to share it with the fellowship.
