Cost is $50 for the entire 2019-2020 school calendar year.
The vision of the Calvary Training Ministry is to reach out to the Cheat Lake community by using sports as a platform to build relationships as a means to impact families with the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We offer speed, agility and strength training for boys and girls, ages 6 and up. We focus on teaching these young kids the value of hard work and discipline, becoming leaders, and pursuing excellence in their lives, both physically and spiritually.
Calvary Training is not a sports specific program. Our hope is to help athletes of all levels, to grow and improve in all areas, physically and mentally, which will help them in their respective sport. Our ultimate goal is to help foster and guide our young athletes to love God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength.
All participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottle and to dress appropriately for the weather. During inclement weather we will move our training inside the building.
A new Liability Waiver Form is required each year for your child to participate in Calvary. Please download and print the Liability Waiver Form and bring it with you to your first training session. We follow the Monongalia County School calendar. If there is no school on a Monday, we will not be training as well. If there are any exceptions, we will send out an email.
*Children do not need to be involved in sports to participate in Calvary Training.

The text we are covering this week is John 6:35-40. We so often look to physical things to bring us satisfaction and joy but Jesus tells us that He is the only One that can satisfy the joy that we crave. That craving we all have is spiritual and as followers of Christ we will never hunger or thirst because He fulfills all of our needs.
1. What are some things that bring us satisfaction and happiness?
2. How come temporary things do not always satisfy our needs?
3. What does Jesus mean when He says we will never hunger or thirst again?
