Mission organizations we support

We follow the model of missions that Jesus established with His disciples in Acts 1:8 "...you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth". Following this model, we support ministries in Morgantown, in neighboring communities, Central America and throughout Asia. We re-distribute 12% of the tithes and offerings we receive each month to ministry organizations we support.

These ministries include:

  • Far Reaching ministries

In 1999, FRM launched their first chaplaincy training program in Nimule, South Sudan, after meeting with the Governor of Sudan’s South Kordofan (Nuba Mountains), Abdul Aziz. By February 2000, FRM was mandated the official Biblical training arm of the SPLA Chaplaincy Program by the Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (SRRC). As of August 2011, nearly 350 men have been trained and deployed as chaplains. For more specific ways you can be praying for this ministry, click here.

  • rancho oasis for youth

Rancho Oasis for Youth (RO4Y) combines Jon's passion for children and young adults, Marillyn's passion for horses, and the love, freedom and truth that only Jesus Christ can bring. Through the empathy created in the hearts of broken children while restoring unwanted horses, the hope and remedy of the Gospel of Christ will be shared!

  • West virginia university intervarsity

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is an inter-denominational evangelical campus mission serving students and faculty on the WVU campus. Our vision is to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed and world changers developed.

Our purpose is to establish a witnessing community who follow Jesus as Lord and Savior, growing in love for God, His Word, His people, and His purpose in the world.

  • West virginia university global intervarsity

Global InterVarsity (IV) is a hospitable community that serves international students and scholars at WVU. With a focus on student leadership, our goal is to help Christian students grow in their faith and to introduce faith in Jesus to those who are interested.

Global InterVarsity would like to invite you to consider joining in on our conversation partner program. We are looking for native English speakers willing to give 1 hour per week to meet with an international student for English conversation. You choose the topic, time and public location to meet in.
